Select configuration title to get access to these options. (1) Sequence and general settings: The edit box allows to change the title of configuration file. The pattern position combo boxes specify where in the pulse sequence the corresponding patterns will appear (at the beginning or at the end). To be included into the sequence EOS, EOR and reptime commands have to be completely defined (this means that command has to have at least one pattern with at least one selected physical channel). The physical channels of reptime command should be of the type 'space'. By selecting None option the repetition time can be excluded from the sequence. Dwell time option force the editor to bring all time variables to be multiples of the dwell time. (2) Repetition Time Parameters: Maximum and Minimum and the Increment of the RepTime variable. The Synchronized by software option allows to maintain exact repetition time by means of the software. The hardware repetition time accuracy is always superior to the software one. On a typical Windows system the software repetition time accuracy can be most of the time within 20 microseconds. This precision, however, can not be guaranteed. Five different algorithms are implemented. First three deal with intervals between consequent runs (master triggers). If synchronization option is At the start of Experiment the time from the beginning of experiment till the current master trigger is maintained. At every run option maintain fixed time duration between consequent master triggers. Adaptive option is working similar to At the start of Experiment, however if the time interval between two master triggers exceeding two repetition times the time origin is re-synchronized. For typical applications the last option is more appropriate. When acquisition system is emulated but a real pulse programmer is used, it is important to prevent the program from starting of the new cycle of sequence preparation until the end of previous sequence. Last two software synchronization options delaying next pulse programmer reprogramming cycle thus allowing it to complete the sequence output. Wait for Sequence duration option waits for delay equal to calculated sequence duration after the trigger. Adaptive + 50% Rep. time option waits for the time of the sequence minus half of the repetition time. In cases when repetition time is significantly longer than the user defined part of the sequence last option is more appropriate. (3) List of pulse commands: These controls allow to add, delete and rename pulse commands. The already defined commands are listed on the left.
