Pulse script is one of the main part of the experiment. Sequence of all pulse events during an experiment is defined here. See help on programming in Pulse Program Language section. After editing of the program user have to press the Compile button. Information about results of compilations and errors is sent to the Log Window. All external variables defined in the program will appear in the Experiment Axis Setup window. After loading, experiments and templates are compiled automatically.

Number of triggers during the same sequence has to be manually defined in the N triggers edit box. The typical value is 1. After changing of this number an experiment should be compiled. Additional data acquired by the program will be consequently stored on the transient axis increasing its size. PPL has an internal variable 'triggers' equal to the number of triggers.
