Device is a part of Spectrometer that incorporates all features of a real device.

Device exposes the settings in a form of device parameters and contains executive part (driver).

Device drivers are different for all devices. SpecMan4EPR supports only a limited number of devices. Other devices can be connected through the development of a new driver and update of the program executable.

Some devices such as EasyGPIB device are configurable and incorporate typical ways of using certain device types. These SpecMan4EPR devices can be applied to some range of real devices.
